BACILLE BRASIL is a rich musical hybrid of two of the most talented cornerstone groups of the Brazilian music scene in Ottawa: Florquestra Brasil and Roda de Samba. Bringing together some of Ottawa's top Brazilian musicians, the group crosses samba with forro and fuses the fever of the frevo with the famous marchas de carnaval and the mischievous xote (pronounce sho-tchee). A perfect match of the percussive and highly energetic street carnival with the harmonic refinement of Brazilian strings, BACILLE BRASIL brings the spirit of Carnaval 2013 to Ottawa's 'Taste of Brazil' Carnaval Party!
